You're
probably wondering,
especially if you're totally new to this industry, what on earth to do
with different LINKS that you see in your member's area or member
dashboards.
A general referral link: Is what you promote when you want credit for
another person signing up under you - that person will become your
referral and you'll usually earn from that person's activities.
PTP Link: This is a Paid To Promote link and MUST NOT BE USED at many
sites that prohibit PTP links. The site that gives you this link will
usually pay you everytime this particular link is shown somewhere, but
PTP links have certain places where they are best show. You will GET
BANNED from some sites - no questions asked, no explanations allowed -
for promoting PTPs at the wrong sites.
Mostly PTR programs will have an additional PTP link, along with the
regular referral link. Don't mix the two up! The different links will
be clearly labelled in your members dashboard area.
TIP: DO PROMOTE your PTP links at any sites that allow this! Many of
them are worth cash amounts per thousand visits. I know this sounds
like a LOT of views, and it is, but a lot of people make really good
money promoting PTPs
In particular, if an ADS ONLY site allows you to promote your PTP links
- GO TO THOSE SITES and enter your links! It's FREE ADVERTISING that
will earn you money.
Read TOS/Terms and F.A.Q.s at the sites you sign up with.
These
documents will tell you which sites you are allowed to promote and
also, in the case of PTP links, which other sites you're NOT allowed to
place your PTP links. PTP sites usually have an entire section
dedicated to PTP-link-promotion details so that members don't make
mistakes and promote at the wrong places.
