You
should be able to contact admin/owners of Free Money Program websites
in a number of ways. These will include forums, chats, occassionally
through teleconferences/web-meetings, and through website
support/help-desk areas. Beyond those contact tools, there is email,
the most common type of contact.
It is advisable to try and use forums, etc., before you email a site
admin. This is because - if you ask a question in a forum post, the
answer may be one that other members also need to view. By using forums
for reasonable posts, you can help cut down the amount of work
an admin has in answering same-topic emails all the
time from many members.
Take care to protect ID or username numbers/letters when
posting in forums (use the asterisk key to represent numbers you do not
want others to view, or "x" those out so they're hidden!). Try NOT TO
display your Payment Processor account numbers or ID details.
Mentioning WHICH Payment Processor you're dealing with should suffice
for forum posting.
A good tactic for communication that works with many admin/owners is to
leave the admin a message in their OWN site-specific forum. In the
post, just mention that you will be following up with an email if you
don't receive a response within about 24 hours through the forum.
If there is no site-specific forum related to the site you're dealing
with, you will often find site-specific threads in larger forums. Check
the threads before you start emailing admins. Your questions might
already have answers waiting within the forum posts and threads.
Too many people are impatient online and get abusive with site admins.
Now, I do understand that in this 'Free Money Program Industry,' a lot
of scams have happened - and this makes people fidgety about money
matters. Still, matters are usually better dealt with when people stay
calm and communicate effectively and decently with each other.
I just thought I would add this page to the Hub because sometimes it
seems as if admin/owners are too often at the receiving end of nasty
commenting and impatient correspondence with site members. |
